Vols) (Commanding Sub-district, Bataan, P.I. [Philippines] ) Sir:-- In compliance with official copy of letter from Headquarters, 2nd Division, 8th Army Corps, dated Bautista, P.I. April 5th, 1900, and furnished this office from Regimental Headquarters April 10th, 1900, I have the honor to submit the following report and recommendations, for distinction and rewards for meritorious service of Officers and enlisted men of the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Inf. U. S. Vols, consisting of Companies

Description Letter from Major Robert E.L. Spence of the 32nd Infantry Volunteers. He recommends Captain Frank M. Rumbold for brevet Major of Volunteers and Captaincy for gallantry and bravery in action in the Philippines. Frank Meeker Rumbold served as Colonel of the 128th Field Artillery during World War I. He later served as Adjutant General of Missouri from 1925 to 1927.
