| Description | This newspaper article states that Lieutenant Colonel Frank Rumbold was appointed assistant to the chief of the militia bureau of the war department at Washington D.C. Rumbold served with the National Guard in Laredo, Texas as captain of Battery A, Missouri Field Artillery. Frank Meeker Rumbold served as Colonel of the 128th Field Artillery during World War I. He later served as Adjutant General of Missouri from 1925 to 1927. |
