HEADQUARTERS NATIONAL GUARD MISSOURI Jefferson City. December 20, 1919. GENERAL ORDERS NO. 11) Under the provisions of Section 4 of the Act approved April 23rd, 1919, the following Examining Boards are appointed: 1. To examine candidates for commission as field and staff officers, artillery officers, cavalry officers and in the auziliary arms: Colonel Frank M. Rumbold, 1st Missouri F.A., Colonel A. Linxwiler, 6th Missouri Infantry, Colonel Stephen E. Lowe, 1st Missouri Infantry. 2. To examine candidates for commission as infantry officers of the line below the grade of major: Lieut. Colonel Frank Woodward, 7th Missouri Infantry, Major Ludwick Graves, Judge Advocate General

| Description | General Orders issued by command of Brigadier General Clark written by A. Linxwiler, Colonel of the 6th Missouri Infantry. The orders appoint members of examining boards to examine candidates for commissions. Frank M. Rumbold was appointed to a board to examing candidates for commission as field and staff officers. Frank Meeker Rumbold served as Colonel of the 128th Field Artillery during World War I. He later served as Adjutant General of Missouri from 1925 to 1927. |
