Headquarters 60th F.A. Brig., American Expeditionary Forces, [September] 11, 1918. FIELD ORDER NO. 3.) MAPS (Nancy 1/80,000) 1. The march of the right colum (60th F.A. Brig.) will be continued on the night of [September] 11-12, to the Foret de Haye, north of the Toul- NANCY road, where the Brigade will go into concealed bivouac. All troops will begin their march at 20 hours, [September] 11, unless otherwise ordered, and will be under cover by 4 hours, [September] 12. The order of march will be as follows:- Hqrs. Detch. 60th F.A. Brig., 110th Trench Mortar Battery, 130th Field Artillery, 129th Field Artillery, 128th Field Artillery, 110th Ammunition Train. 2. (a) The right colum will move to the Foret de Haye, route NANCY, TOUL-NANCY road, to areas which will be reconnoitered by officers from the various organizations. Major W.W. Thurston, in command of the 130th F.A., will act as guide for the colum and will not pass through a point in NANCY, indicated to him, until after 23 hours. (b) Each organization will send an officer to report to these headquarters, at 11 hours this date, for the purpose of reconnoitering the area allotted to their respective until in the Foret de Haye, and make arrangements for the bivouac of their command. (c) Combat and field trains will accompany their units; rolling kitchens will march with their organizations; combat wagons will march filled. 3. Attention of all concerned is invited to Confidential memorandum of [September] 1, from Division Headquarters, relating to special regulations to avoid hostile observation during moves, the provisions of which will be strictly complied with. 4. Description Orders issued by General L.G. Berry, giving commands for the movement of the 60th Field Artillery Brigade from September 11 through the 12, 1918. This brigade includes the 110th Trench Mortar Battery, 130th Field Artillery, 129th Field Artillery, 128th Field Artillery, and the 110th Ammunition Train. Frank Meeker Rumbold served as Colonel of the 128th Field Artillery during World War I. He later served as Adjutant General of Missouri from 1925 to 1927.
