[American Y.M.C.A. letterhead][February] 26th 1919 Dear Katharine! I received your letter of [January] 29th it being the first in two weeks. It does not surprise me to hear that you have gotten your first news from me in three weeks and that being five letters. I cannot explain why that was, in writing, but will tell all about it when I see you again. That letter of mine of [November] 5th must be daisy in as much as it seems to interest Mother so. I hope you have not destroyed it as I would like to read it again. Next to the health of the family; your receiving the money order is what pleases me most. I am also tickeled to hear of Dads promotion, but it does not surprise me as I know he had it in him.
