St. Louis [July 1, 1919] Dear George: You must think that I forget to wright you but nothing as work - work and work. I made many Improvement around the place and you will be surprised to see all. I was not filing very well my stomach was is bad condition after night work. I lost 27 lbs now I gain again after [written in left margin] It is very hot to night, hope it rain soon
