St. Louis [December] 31, [1918] 10. P.M. Dear George! I received your very interesting Christmas Letter and we all where surprised to here from you after a very long time. Tonight we sitting around the Tabel and waiting for the Clock to strigt 12. Katie is sliping on the Table, Mama & Elsie coming. (nothing new). Wonder what the new year will bring to us and we all hoping for your early return. You are a very lucky boy coming over after the long

war and all somthing of the other Country. I hope you will enjoy it and take advantage of this. Your right in your Letter that you send some money order to me. This is not right if you want to see something and buy on yourself you need the money. I also figured how I out send you some. In case you need money right and soon. I had a very happy Christmas received $32.00 Bonus and will have another of $25.00 on [January] 15, [1918]
