St. Louis [Missouri] March 20 - 1919 Dear Friend: - Your card rec, thank you very much for same, think it very pretty, will place it with the rest of my collection. Weather here has been lovely spring is surely coming, and hope you havent any more mud over there, as that must be tiresome for you boys but keep up good spirits untill you get

[page 2] back, we dont have so much rain and mud here anyway. Was out to your house last Thursday we had a fine time, had such a pleasant surprice. Mrs Lautner come over for a while so that made one more to our hen party. Your folks are all fine. Dad was out to your house and trimed your grape vines again, gives him a nice trip. My brother took us out there one Sunday afternoon in his car it did not take long at all and Oh my it was a fine ride.

Julia and Otto are going to move one block from our house next week so glad, wont be so lonely. George you should see your little nephew and niece, They are surely getting big, you should see Norman, some boy I say
