Letter Number 4 we wish you a marry christmas & a Happy new year. St. Louis [Missouri] [December] 19th 1918 Dear George:- Not having any thing to do at present I am going to write a few lines. How are you? We are all well inclunding Marie and little Marie. I dont know whether you received my last letter or not so I am going to tell you again about normans little Sister. She was born [December] 8th on a Sunday morning She weighted 7 lbs. and has blue eyes and dark hair. She favores the theurer more

than our family. They are going to name her Marie Katherine. She hasnt been Christen yet, and dont think until after christmas. Norman is so tickled about his little sister. He is getting cuter every day. I made him a pair of pants for christmas the finest he has ever had. george how are you getting along. mama had a christmas present from Mrs Kreiger today. She is well. we also had a letter from Blanche and Willie. Mamma is well and still waiting for the day to come when you come marching down Hanover avenue. That is all she talks about. Papa is well and so is Katie and myself. Katie is still at Marie. Our minister has left our church. We all felt bad about it. Lautners got a player piano for Christmas we are having another Red Cross drive. Papa brought a paper home from France from a friend of his. well george this is all I have to say hoping this finds you well and happy and hope you had a merry christmas we sent you a christmas box.
