They require this Kind of Coat Overseas but refuse to let them use here. I bought another serge suit similar to the one Ihave. It is a little heavier than the one Ihave. You may dispose of the socks you mention. Give Bob the other Black overcoat if he Can use it. Imean the one that Moths have not eaten, also give Outing Cloth gown to Belgians Major Clarence DeWeese is the Name. Am glad you are through with the housecleaning. It seems toobad that this has to

be done so often in addition to the regular Cleaning you have done weekly. You like the Lady peas better when they are picked before the pod is dry, but Ilike them either way. Iwrote Mr. Harris, told him you would be in and order photo’s. Am sorry to hear that your Uncle J. is not getting stronger. Ithink he had best buy a few acres out about Morgan Heights where he can have a garden. Cow and some Chickens. It would not Cost much for him to live there that way and he could have modern Conveniences there very Cheaply. The war [written upside down in top margin] and the relative Cost. Would his figures before he does it. just lots of love. Devotedly. E.
