8 15 A.M. Sunday MyDearest : - Just a few more lines and I will get this in the mail. Have not yet seen a Morning paper, so do not Know anything more regarding developments in the war. am anxious to see a paper. The ground was white with frost this morning and it is really Chilly. Housetops look as though Covered with snow. Iam O.D. today so will have to stay in Camp otherwise Iwould go in town to Church.

Last Sunday Iwas on the train all day and so it goes. Am anxiously waiting for the Mail so that Ican get that letter from you. Wish that Icould get transferred to some Southern Camp if Iam tostay in the Army all winter, but am afraid to ask for anything for fear that Iwill be worsted. We have no choice so far as the decision of where we are to go is Concerned. Wish Iwas home this morning. Iam like Marian about home. It looks good to me. Again just lots of love. Devotedly E.
