Description | This photograph of soldiers in line for mess at Fort Riley belongs to a collection of photographs compiled by Jefferson City, Missouri native Clifford Porth during his service in the Mexican Border War and World War I. During the war Porth served in the Missouri National Guard in Company L, 2nd Missouri Infantry Regiment. Porth later served in the 815th Pioneer Infantry during World War I. |
