Quarters Supply Company, 129th Field Artillery. Camp Doniphan, [Oklahoma] December 3, 1917. To Whom Presented. I take pleasure in indorseing the application of Francis Poindexter, for a commission in the Signal Corps, U.S. Army. I knew him in private life and consider him a worthy young man, thoroughly responsible and reliable. My acquaintance with him before his entering the military service was begun when I was Cashier of the Security National Bank, Kansas City, Missouri, and I had opportunity to observe him to a considerable extent. I believe him thoroughly qualified for Aviation as he is level headed and of excellant physique. Harry C. Jobes Captain 129th F. A. Supply officer.
