The whole division has the red fourragere the highest regimental honor in France. Our chasseur division great as it was, didn't have a single battalion with that honor. to life again the section will have an opportunity to distinguish itself. That is the most important thing but there are other things that count.Instead of staying in one sector we will move around the country. We will get plenty of action and our repos will be spent in good towns way back instead of little mudhole villages near the front. We begin to live again instead of merely existing. I didn't know I had, had died and left me a million dollars. Give Val my congratulations on his wings. It's great news. I will write him the first opportunity. We're awfully busy. We were on the road all day yesterday and start out again at seven this evening. By tomorrow we should reach our new division. Lots of love to all of you.
