Theodore Debs letter to Frank P. O'Hare - March 14, 1918
Transcript
March 14th., 1918 Dear Frank:- Your note to Gene of the 12th., addressed jointly to Phil also, is it hand. I will see that Gene gets it soon. I need not say that he will read it with care and appreciation. I am glad to note its cheerful spirit and also the evident progress you are making in organizing your campaign and in prospective results. I hope most earnestly every expectation may be fully realized. The circular letter issued by Baldwin under date of the 7th. is admirable in spirit and in clarity of statement and purpose. Everything seems to be working harmoniously to the end desired. May it continue so. You were fortunate in getting Ervin as chairman. You could not have gotten a better. All the rest of the names are good and strong and the committee and officers are without a flaw. You are of course at liberty to use Gene
