January 28th., 1922 Dear Frank :- Yours of the 26th. with enclosures, one of which is herewith returned, has been received and everything in it has been carefully read and noted. I went over the Whole ground thoroughly with Caroline when she was here and shall not now trouble you to write in regard to it. All I can say is that I heartily wish you success in your very praiseworthy undertaking in behalf of the political prisoners. I need not say that everything that is done to help in this work, by whomever it may be supported and encouraged, has our approval and we can only wish all the forces that make for liberalism as well as for socialism might unite in one grand movement for the liberation of every last political prisoner.
