Description <p>Personell file for George Creel containing only one file giving a brief description of his public service. Creel was a jounalist, politician, and author. He was appointed by President Woodrow Wilson as Chariman of the Commission on Public Information. As chiarman he sought to influence public opinion and gain support at home during World War I. He also authored the book &#34;The War, the World, and Wilson.&#34;</p>
