Description Burial record files for First Lieutenant Julius Niles containing records of death, disinterment, and reburial. Niles served with Company C, 6th Infantry, 5th Division. He was killed in action on September 12, 1918 by enemy machine gun fire. His body was buried in the St. Mihiel American Cemetery in Thiaucourt, France.
