Description Burial records for Guy E. Morse containing information on his death and interment as well as documentation of his mother's Gold Star Mothers Pilgrimage. Guy Morse served in the 135th Aero Squadron as a second lieutenant. He was killed in action on September 12, 1918. His mother, Josephine Morse, participated in the Gold Star Mothers Pilgrimage in 1931 to visit her son's grave in France. The Gold Star Mothers Pilgrimage was a government funded trip for widows and mothers to visit the gravesites of their loved ones who where killed during World War I.
