There is republished for the information and guidance of officers, other ranks and militarized civilians the following pertinent orders and regulations on saluting, military courtesies and uniform: Salutes and Courtesies Par. 6, A.R. 406.

Coats 1. It is also prescribed by S.R. No. 41, W.D. 1917, that the service coat and overcoat shall be buttoned throughout whenever worn. II. It is also prescribed by S.R. No. 41, W.D. 1917, that the service coat will be habitually worn except at certain specific drills at which the Commanding Officer may authorize the wearing of the olive-drab shirt without service coat. The Commanding General District of Paris has issued no authorization for the wearing of the olive-drab shirt without the service coat. Headgear I. Hats-Par. 87 (a) S.R. 41.
