Paris, France [October] 28 1918 Dear Virginia- Received your letter a few days ago and was very glad to hear from you. I have not as yet received your three letters. I have received two I am in Paris now. I have been here almost two months. I am now working in the Medical Dept on detached service. I am the fireman, that is I have a lot of cans of water to keep hot. I certainly am glad to see Paris, a most beautiful city indeed. not censored. You have the wrong impression. At present I am at the Y.M.C.A. down town in Paris. I will send you a little red book containing photographs of Paris very soon. I hope that you have received my several letters. I will write you a much longer letter as soon as something happens to write about.
