Ehrenbrietstein Germany [February] 9, 1919 Dear Virginia- I have had only one letter, I think from you since November, but I ought to get some more from you when my back mail arrives. I have not as yet received my mail dated between [November] 14th and [December] 30th I took a trip down the Rhine the other day on a pleasure boat rented by the Y.M.C.A. We passed the Lorelei rock, where the Rhine is about 300 feet wide and about 200 feet deep. The current is very swift. It costs only 6 pfennigs (about

Saw a few moving pictures and a few Y.M.C.A. entertainments, which were very good. Saw a moving picture in a German moving picture theatre about three weeks ago.
