Executive Offices State of Missouri City of Jefferson May 1, 1919. Dear Colonel,- I was very much pleased to receive your letter, enclosing copy of the history of the 805th Pioneer Infantry. It will be very valuable for our records. The boys of the 805th have made a fine record for themselves and have honored their State. We are proud of them. I beg that you will extend to them my warmest greetings and good wishes. Faithfully yours, Frederick D. Gardner, Governor. 1st Ind.
