G-3/13 Headquarters 28th Division American Expeditionary Force France 29 October, 1918. Daily Operations Report From noon 28 [October] to noon 29 [October], 1918. I. Hostile Situation at beginning of the day. Unchanged. II. Information received of the enemy during day. Our patrols have established the fact that the enemy has four strands of barbed wire, knee-high, along the northwest corner of the Bois de Dommartin and a similar entanglement ten yards in front of the woods extending from railroad to woods. Ten yards from the southern end of the woods are two dugouts. Enemy occupies the Bois de Dommartin west of the railroad.
