The 342nd Field Artillery Officers Association. Constitution and By-Laws. Name. The name of this organization will be The 342nd Field Artillery Officers Association. Object. First.- To establish an organization whereby the goodfellowship and friendship amongst the Officers of The 342nd Field Artillery may be maintained after the regiment has disbanded. Second.- To provide a means of disseminating to members of the association news of the welfare and doings of its members. For this purpose each member will write the Secretary monthly and these letters shall be copied and mailed to each member monthly. Also a roster with addresses shall be maintained and published annually. Third.- To keep alive the history and memories of the 342nd Field Artillery-89th Division. Membership. All officers who at any time were assigned or attached to the 342nd Field Artillery are eligible for membership. Dues. Membership Dues: The sum of $5.00 (frs 30) shall be paid on admission. Annual Dues: These shall be fixed by the executive committee at the beginning of each year and shall be for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses of the association. Management. The management of the affairs of the Association shall be in the hands of an Executive Committee which shall consist of )1) President )2) Vice-President )3) Secretary and Treasurer )4) Four other Members. These Officers and members shall be elected at the annual meeting. Copies of the minutes of the meetings of this committee shall be mailed to all members of the committee who cannot attend. Voting may be by proxy or by mail. The executive committee shall meet from time to time on the call of the President or three members of the committee. The annual meeting and any other meetings of the association shall be called by the executive committee. Changes. This constitution and by-laws may be changed at any time by a two-thirds vote of those present at any meeting called for that purpose.
