Description Photo album from the military experience of Lindsay S. Milne at Base Hospital #28. Milne enlisted in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in April 1917 and went on to command Base Hospital #28 in Limoges, France during World War I. Base Hospital #28 was comprised of physicians and nurses primarily from the University of Kansas and the Kansas City area, and had approximately 10,000 admissions during the war. The photographs contained within this scrapbook are graphic in nature and should be viewed with discretion by all audiences. Additionally, some of the pages of this scrapbook were not included online due to their graphic content and out of respect of the deceased.
