You may be sure I shall not neglect to attend to the renewing of the allowance. Please check this up with me. As I remember the provision started with the May pay and included May, June, July, August, [September] and October, does this check with your understanding? You have said nothing of having received the card notifying you of our safe arrival here or a telegram which I put in the mail bag at the dock and which was to be delivered on our landing here. Have been wondering if you got them. Am glad Mr Smith gives me such a
