April 10, 1919 Dear Sis: Well there is still nothing new to write am fully recovered from the mumps now I think. We have been having a few days of fine weather and of course I hope it will continue to. Rather think I will be gone from this place inside the next week but of course do not know for sure or where, I mailed a vase to you also one to grace yesterday if they dont reach you

or if they are battered up in the mail you need not worry for they have little value but thought you might like one as a souvenir for they are genuine shell (75's) which were fired at the Dutch. They are rather rough work, were made by French soldiers here. Well dont know any news or anything of interest to write so will quit. Your bro Harry.
