flu well I did and it developed into pneumonia and for quite a few days I was pretty sick, three days I dont have much memory of, but thanks to the nurse, a Miss Ross, she pulled me through. Naturally when the pneumonia left me with a severe bunch of rheumatism (in my legs, pricipally) and as yet I have not been able to get rid of all of it, and there is still some soreness in my lungs. The Dr. tells me that is to be expected yet for a while. Well of course I had to have the mumps, but

fortunately not sverely. I am now here at Toul France, where they brought me from Treves, Germany, but expect to be moved again soon, just where or when, I don't know. It is very unlikely that I will ever get back to my outfit again, but would like too as they are billed for home soon. Unfortunately I have not got to see much of the country over here I believe if I had not got sick when I did I would have got to go to Paris, and perhaps a trip on the Rhine, but that is all blowed up now.
