Transcript

Important! May 31 1918. Dear Emil – There is something I wish you would do for me immediately, to forward the plans of the wireless diregible I have been working on. There is two principal drawings that I wish – a blue print and an ink drawing on white paper. Both of these are to be found in my room at home. - In the wardrobe there is a big portfolio of drawings which must include the above. The blue print which is about 24” x 15” is a diagramatic layout of connection. you should easily recognize it by the [ms illegible: 1wd]; and disks. The ink drawing as I remember has its edges some what tore and soiled. It has some of the instruments drawn in perspective. There is also a perspective drawing on bristol board paper folded in the middle which if you can find it (send along). Place in a heavy envelope and forward these, as I can [ms illegible: 1 wd] use part of them. Thanking you in advance for this favor, I remain Sincerely [Corporal George] Maguolo 29th Engineers [General Headquarters] – A.E.F P. S. Please keep these matters quiet.
