BERNARD M. BARUCH 111 BROADWAY NEW YORK March 3, 1920. My dear General : - It was with real pleasure that I received your letter of February 28th. I have not yet received the matter you sent under separate cover. But I am sure that you will give the treatment of your subject the same earnest consideration that you have brought to all the tasks you have handled. I think the Selective Draft in its working was one of the greatest achievements of the whole war. As you know, you had the admiration of the entire War Industries Board. And certainly no member admired you more than I. Hoping that an opportunity will often come to meet you and talk things over between ourselves, I am, Always sincerely yours, [signature] Bernard M Baruch General E. H. Crowder, Office of the Judge Advocate General, Department of War, Washington, D.C. MBM/s
