Joseph J. Koch Dated May 5, 1914 Instructions This form to be filled out in duplicate, one copy to be retained by Company Commander, and one copy forwarded direct to the Adjutant General of Missouri, Jefferson City. See G.O. 13, A.G.O., NO. 1910. No person is lawfully enlisted until he has passed the prescribed physical examination, a copy of which certificate of physical examination (Form No. 105, A.G.O., MO.) must accompany this contract. Description of Recruit. I certify that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the volunteer Rudolph Behagel van Farmmerdinghe, is of lawful age. This soldier is 5 feet 8 inches high, has fair complexion, gray eyes brown hair, and resides at 1701 Market St. 1st Lt. First Infty, N.G.M. Enlisting Officer.

Description | Enlistment record for a German American Rudolph Behagel van Flammerdinghe. He enlisted under Joseph J. Koch with the First Missouri Regiment, Company M. This collection was compiled by Major Joseph Koch, a St. Louis, Missouri resident who served during the Punitive Expedition into Mexico with the First Missouri Infantry. During World War I, Major Koch was severely wounded in his left leg during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive while serving with the 35th Division, 137th Infantry. |
