This is a very interesting country and very beautiful. I am learning German fast but I wish it was French. I picked up a few French phrases and I believe with a little practice I can get along O.K. Possibly on my way back I can pick up a bit more. I got a letter from Mary Keck or Mme Canmartin the other day. I have written her. Give my love to Aunt Clara & Uncle Winthrop. Much love to you, Burnham. Officer’s Mail Mrs. J.K. Burnham 1 Shady Hill Square Cambridge, Mass. U.S.A.
