Have at last gotten a two weeks vacation. Am going to England, hope to take in Ireland and Scotland. Tipton is with me. The city of Treves, Germany, where we are now stationed is very beautiful. We are stopping in this town for only about two hours. Will be in Paris for about eight hours, then go to La Havre & take the boat to England. Latest orders are that we leave for the States in June. Will write from London. Much love to all. Burnham. Officer’s Mail. Mr. R. M. Hockaday Burnham - Munger - Root D. G. Co. Kansas City. Mo.-U.S.A.
