Wilson. Rather peculiar that Milne first met Wilson with the Army Forces in France. Wilson is some years younger than Milne & was with some of the South African Divisions. He had been in that country for some time altho Scottish born. He was most desirous of being allowed to wear a Kilt & Milne gave him permission to do so. They had never met again until Wilson called in on Milne to make an offer for his Practice. So "What do you know about that" Wilson is a grandson of the famous Dr. Livingston South African Explorer. It was good to get your letter & to know that Mrs. Hardesty your [ms illegible: 1wd] & yourself were all fit and well. Your messages to Milne will be with him tomorrow. Did he ever write you? He threatened he would do so but was a bit depressed in spirit. When I returned home after my tour in U.S.A. I am due to be in New York just for a week in the early spring but I will be in St. Louis [Missouri]about early October I expect next year. Sure I will let you know of my coming. It was good to [ms illegible: 1 wd] to meet you & your dear ones. With every good wish to Mrs. Hardesty Jackie & yourself and the Seasons greetings Yours Sincerely Alex Cank
