Description | Letter from F.A. Hertwig of the Detroit Conference concerning and army order issued on July 24, 1918 which eliminated Protestant denominational work from army posts. Hertwig stated that him and the other members of the Detroit Board believe the need for spiritual relief in camps is essential for soldiers and sailors. |
