Description Letter addressed to professor from C.F. Brommer, the President of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Missouri, Ohio, and other States. Brommer discussed the Siman Act, which prohibited the instruction of any foreign language in private, public, or parochial schools in Nebraska. German Synods across the area argued that the Siman Act deprived them of their liberty to practice their first language.
