[Martini Evangelical Luther Church letterhead] Prof. Theo Graebner, 3618 Texas Ave., St. Louis [Missouri] May 5th 1919 Dear Prof. Enclosed find a clipping from The North American setting forth the reasons why the Governor of Pennsylvania vetoed the bill which would prohibit the teaching of the German language in the public and the normal schools. I think it deserves wide publicity, for it contains food for thought to every fair minded citizen. There is a dire need of such Governors. Greetings from A.W. Lange
