Description Major General Helmick ordered this Embarkation Order directing Base Hospital 210 to embark on the S. S. Nieuw Amsterdam. Dr. Levi Fuson was a Captain in U.S. Army Medical Corps. He served with Base Hospitals 21 and 210 in France. Base hospital 21, which was founded and staffed by Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, was one of six that was selected for mobilization by the U.S. Government to support the British troops.
