ADVANCE COPY SPECIAL ORDERS NO.135 HEADQUARTERS PRESIDO OF SAN FRANCISCO, CAL. San Francisco, [California], July 1, 1919. - EXTRACT - * * * * 13. Under the authority of Paragraph 8. Circular No. 86, War Department, 1919, and under the provisions of Paragraph 3, Circular No. 191, War Department, 1919, Captain L.H. Fuson, Medical Corps, is transferred on a leave status, and at his own expense, to Camp Taylor, Kentucky, for discharge on or before July 30, 1919. Leave of absence is hereby granted Captain Fuson for six (6) days, effective at once, for the purpose of making the journey, and upon arrival he will report in person to the Commanding Officer, Camp Taylor, Kentucky,. * * * * By Command of Brigadier General McDonald: E.L. Description Brigadier General McDonald issued this order to Dr. Levi H. Fuson directing him to report to Camp Taylor, Kentucky for discharge. Dr. Fuson was a Captain in U.S. Army Medical Corps. He served with Base Hospital 21, in Rouen, France. The hospital, which was founded and staffed by Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, was one of six that was selected for mobilization by the U.S. Government to support the British troops.
