| Description | Examination form filled out by Edwin Ernst of a patient who had an injured wrist, thigh, and chest. Ernst worked at Base Hosptial 21 in in Rouen, France. Base Hospital 21 was formed from faculty and students from Washington University School of Medicine. Ernst designed his own portable x-ray equipment to help quickly diagnose injured soldiers. |
