Dear Mother & Ethel Not much news today but I’ll write a note and then get cleaned up for dinner. Iwent to Junctions a while last night but couldnt get a room so had to come back - would liked to have stayed in town as I was tired and a good bed would have been as welcome as the flowers in June. Hiked about 20 miles yesterday beside standing inspections and going thru the gas house. Havent heard from Will this week alltho Iwrote him last Sunday and fully expected a reply from him. if amy and the kids have arrived give them my love sure would like to see them. cant tell how much longer I’ll be here - might be gone in 24 hours and again Imay [ms illegible: 1 wd] here a few more months Not a very satisfactory conditions of affairs but
