[page 2] of them have made their brays and threats what a good time they would have with fellows runs off at war they would say you see I am above the age limit so for goodness sake stick out to raise the limit and get all single men first then take married men you are right and stick to it and for goodness sake in struck there local and district boards what they are to do some are taking married men who works for wages not a cut of out side income and their wives positively not able to make a living for their selves now that is not right & so many single men do you think?

[page 3] You are admired by people all over the country for you being so fair and getting all the loafers first and then you can extend that law work or fight up to 45 so many from 31 to 45 are engaged in nothing only pool halls and Saloons work or fight is right and you have the right idea I am so glad to see you have won Secy Baker over on right side. Please come out in the daily papers on the receipt of this and make it plain to people & boards who you expect them take for they are ruining it come there is lot of single men with no dependents in this U.S.A. yet urge Congress to raise age limit to 45 very soon your for fairness and I know thats what you want a true friend
