Description | This note and two newspaper clippings were sent to General Enoch H. Crowder. One clipping entitled "That Questionnaire from Another Angle," discussed the feelings men might encounter when receiving their questionnaire for the draft. The other article discussed Enoch H. Crowder's mishap with a catchup bottle. This document is part of a collection compiled by Enoch Herbert Crowder, the Edinburg, Grundy County, Missouri native who served as Judge Advocate General. Crowder devised the Selective Service Act in 1917 which drafted America's forces during World War I. |
