My dear General Crowder: I am inclosing you herewith an editorial clipped from the Albuquerque Evening Herald of this date. You may be much interested to know that your good work is known and appreciated in this comparatively remote part of the country. Much more could have been said. Description Letter from James R. Moore of Albuquerque, New Mexico to Judge Advocate General of the Army, Enoch H. Crowder. Moore informed Crowder that knowledge of his good work had traveled across the country and he had sent two of his sons to the Navy. This document is part of a collection compiled by Enoch Herbert Crowder, the Edinburg, Grundy County, Missouri native who served as Judge Advocate General. Crowder devised the Selective Service Act in 1917 which drafted America's forces during World War I.
