6 rue Maise Neaue Maisons Laffitte June 23 My Dear Elsie You will I know be pleased to hear I have just had a letter from Charming Young American Officer, a Lieut Powhattan [ms illegible: 1 wd] He had just be ordered to Paris, much to his disgust it seems he is no longer in the flying corps: upon which decision I [ms continued from page 4] well- and if he remains in Paris as he says he will you [ms illegible: 1 wd] be sure we shall do all we can for him.
