[page 3] goodness. I have gone from one extreme to the other. I flew the smallest ships built and now I will have not the largest but a mighty-big one. Another thing is I have a lot more liberty. We were under cadet disciplines at 3d A.I.C. but here I am perfectly free to go & come. Get up & go to bed when I please & other pleasant little things as long as I perform my duty. I have to fly at certain times but outside of that I do as I damn please. Whoops my dear. I am going to enjoy it muchly I think. We are outside a good sized town only about half an hours walk. There are good restaurants & hotels & a little life thank heaven. We have rooms to ourselves I mean two of us to a room which is luxurious after the crowded barracks.
