[Y.M.C.A letterhead] June 9 1918 No 20 x Sunday Mother dearest We actually had a day of rest today and as usual when I have a minute off I beat it for town. I am writing this at the officers Y.M.C.A. It is really an Officers club and is very nice. We certainly find things more comfortable here than any other place I have seen so far. I envy the men who are stationed in town. At camps we are really comfortable

Curtis Standard Sopwith & Nieuport you can handle with a wrist motion so to speak but these blame things you have to heave on for all youre worth.
