full pay to take these courses. Quarters will be provided or the officer will draw commutation of quarters. The tuition fee will be paid by the government. I have been thinking of taking the course in International Law at Oxford but I want your advice on the subject. I think I would get home about the same time whether I took the course or not and it certainly would be a wonderful experience. Let me know what you think about it. I have kept a strict account of my expenses for January. I wanted to see where the money was going. The thing is rather enlightening. I will send it to you as soon as I get back to St. Nazaire. I certainly will be delighted to get away from St. Nazaire the lower Loire. Its almost too good to be true. I would rather be at Nantes than any place I know but Tours isn
