Unknown letter to Dr. Noel - n.d.
Transcript
Dear Dr. Noel: I prefer to settle your bill myself and, if that is impossible, to let our Court determine what is reasonable to pay for your services. I do not want to be though unfair but, in view of the time expended, I do not think I should be expected to consent to a payment in excess of $800.00. While this is more that I believe I should pay, I have concluded that I prefer making that payment to contesting a bill of this nature. If you are agreeable to that disposition on the matter, I will make that payment in compromise, otherwise I prefer that we submit it to the Courts. Sincerely yours,
